Connor Wickham put the Eagles in the lead from the penalty spot on the stroke of half time, only for Bojan KrKic to restore parity from 12 yards on 76 minutes.
Alan Pardew’s side had the last laugh at the Britannia Stadium, as Lee Chung-yong scored the winner in the 88th minute.

Palace are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 29 points from 17 matches.
The London outfit are level on points with Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently fourth in the standings and occupy the final Champions League spot.
The Eagles will take on Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium in the league on Boxing Day.
