Celtic striker Anthony Stokes makes his opinion of Premier League known

Celtic striker Anthony Stokes was apparently impressed with Watford’s win against Liverpool in the Premier League today.

Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his take on the upsets in the Premier League so far this season.

The former Arsenal prospect made the comments during today’s game between Watford and Liverpool at Vicarage Road.

The Hornets, who got promoted from the Championship at the end of last season, got the better of the Reds 3-0 in the league.

Stokes, who has also played for Sunderland, Sheffield United (loan) and Crystal Palace (loan), was stunned with yet another ‘upset’ in the top flight of English football.

The 2015-16 Premier League season has not been of great quality, but it has certainly been hugely exciting in terms of results.

The fact that Leicester City, who almost got relegated to the Championship at the end of last season, are at the top of the league table at Christmas this year demonstrates just how unpredictable it has been so far.

Long may it continue…
