Alan Shearer reacts on Twitter to Watford win, Nwankwo Kanu raves about goalscorer

Watford won 3-0 against Liverpool at home in the Premier League today.

Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Watford’s win against Liverpool at home today.

Watford maintained their good run of form with a 3-0 victory over Liverpool at Vicarage Road in the Premier League.

Nathan Ake opened the scoring for the Hornets after just three minutes, and Odion Ighalo found the net in the 15th and the 85th minute.

Former Newcastle striker Shearer was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Watford.

Nwankwo Kanu, who played for Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion among other clubs, was pleased for his Nigerian compatriot Ighalo.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Vicarage Road, hosts Watford had just 34% of the possession, took six shots of which five were on target, and earned seven corners.

Visitors Liverpool had 66% of the possession, took 12 shots of which just four were on target, and earned nine corners.
