The Hammers supremo is hopeful the Olympic Stadium move will be a hit.
It is an exciting time to be a West Ham United fan.
The Hammers are looking to be putting together a top team at the moment and then there is the incoming move to the Olympic Stadium.
Now the club's co-chairman David Gold has announced plans to play a marquee pre-season friendly at the new ground next summer to welcome the club and fans to the new club:

Of course another concern is regarding season tickets. Some loyal Hammers are concerned that increased demand for tickets at the new ground might see them miss out in the long run, with one fan even suggesting to David Gold on Twitter yesterday just that.
But the co-chairman has offered his assurances to West Ham fans that the club will be doing all they can to ensure everybody who wants a season ticket next term will get one:
I'm still hopeful that every one that wants a season ticket for next season will get one. dg https://t.co/m8fEQVmDrw— David Gold (@davidgold) December 18, 2015
I don't mine you questioning my judgment but I get very upset if you question my integrity. dg https://t.co/pBOWzOe4LD— David Gold (@davidgold) December 18, 2015
West Ham fans are rightly nervous, excited and sceptical about the upcoming move but hopefully it will be the dawn of an exciting new era for the club going forward.
