Predicted Leeds United line-up to play Preston: Two changes from Evans

Leeds United

Here is how we predict Leeds United and Preston North End will line up this weekend:

To be played on Sunday 20th December 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Elland Road, Leeds

Odds: Leeds 8/5, Draw 21/10, Preston 15/8

Leeds United welcome Preston North End to Elland Road on Sunday with Steve Evans’ side sure to be buzzing after their 3-2 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out.

Sam Byram came in from the cold to deliver a fine individual performance, scoring a brace to help the Whites secure all three points with summer signing Stuart Dallas also getting on the score-sheet, and manager Steve Evans will be hoping for more of the same back on their own patch.

That victory took Leeds up to 14th in the Championship table, but with just one point separating them and Sunday’s opponents this match really could go either way.

Preston drew 1-1 with Birmingham City in midweek and their manager Simon Grayson will be hoping for better after seeing his side let the lead slip on that occasion.

Leeds and Preston will meet again on the final day of the campaign and it will be interesting to see just what they are playing for by the time that match comes around.
