John Barnes predicts Arsenal v Manchester City result and goalscorers

Arsenal will take on Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Monday evening.

Former Liverpool and Newcastle United winger John Barnes has predicted on that Monday night’s Premier League game between Arsenal and Manchester City will end in a draw.

Arsenal will take on City at the Emirates Stadium in North London, and Barnes believes that the match will finish 1-1.

The former England international has backed Wales international midfielder Aaron Ramsey to score for the Gunners and Ivory Coast international striker Wilfried Bony to find the net for City.

“It’s too early to call this one a title decider because, with the way this season is going, both teams will drop plenty more points,” Barnes has written on

“I think they’ll both be wary of a defeat here, so a draw is on the cards. Goalscorers – Wilfried Bony and Aaron Ramsey.”

Arsenal are a point ahead of City in the Premier League table at the moment, and the incentive of extending that lead cannot be undermined.

Playing at home will give the Gunners an advantage, and the players need to make the most of it.

City have a better squad than Arsenal, but Arsene Wenger’s side are in good form at the moment and will probably be considered as favourites by many.
