Henri Lansbury and Michael Mancienne react on Twitter to Forest win

Nottingham Forest defeated MK Dons 2-1 at the City Ground in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Nottingham Forest duo Henri Lansbury and Michael Mancienne have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the win against MK Dons at home today.

Forest returned to winning ways in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over The Dons at the City Ground.

Nelson Oliveira fired a left-footed shot past David Martin in the second minute to put the Reds in the lead.

Ryan Mendes stabbed in at the second attempt from a Daniel Pinillos cross to double Forest's lead on 16 minutes.

Josh Murphy's first-time strike on 81 minutes saw the visitors halve the deficit, but Dougie Freedman’s side held on for the three points.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the City Ground, hosts Forest had just 34% of the possession, took 12 shots of which four were on target, and earned four corners.

Visitors MK Dons had 66% of the possession, took 13 shots of which just four were on target, and earned six corners.

Forest are 13th in the Championship table at the moment with 28 points from 22 matches.
