Dele Alli praised the work-rate of his team-mates on Twitter after Tottenham Hotspur left Southampton with a 2-0 win on Saturday afternoon.
Mauricio Pochettino took his side to his former hunting ground at St Mary's and the north London outfit were rarely troubled.
Alli netted, after Harry Kane had opened the scoring during his 100th game for Tottenham.
The Spurs cult hero himself took to social media, expressing his pride at reaching the 100 club at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham's win moves them into fourth on goal difference, with rivals for a place in the Premier League top four - Manchester United - losing 2-1 to Norwich City at Old Trafford.
What a reward for Tottenham's hard-fought win. And, while Pochettino may downplay the significance of sitting fourth, the Spurs players have certainly earned the right to celebrate.
Needless to say, there's still a long way to go this season. But so far, so good - especially with the likes of United, Liverpool and Chelsea faltering as they are.
