Celtic manager Ronny Deila has suggested to the club’s official website that he rates Aidan Nesbitt highly.
Attacking midfielder Nesbitt is only 18 years of age and is rated as one of the most promising young players in the Celtic academy.
The teenager has yet to make his first-team debut for the Bhoys, but one suspects that he will do so at some point this season.
Deila seems to be a big fan of Nesbitt and has compared him to three of his first-team players.
“He’s very creative, like Kris Commons, Tom Rogic and Scott Allan,” the Norwegian told Celtic’s official website about Nesbitt.
“He’s the type that can beat people. He can play people through and is very good at scanning and looking forward.
“He’s still physically not developed yet and if he can do that as well, he has the potential to have good legs as well.”
Celtic are having a mixed season at the moment, having failed to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League and then not being able to progress to the knockout rounds of the Europa League.
However, in the Scottish Premiership, Ronny Deila’s side are flying high and set to win the league title yet again.
The Bhoys are at the top of the league table at the moment with 42 points from 17 matches. Celtic are four points clear of second-place Aberdeen and have a game in hand.
