The Italian editorial names Palace and West Ham as suitors ahead of the January transfer window, with both clubs looking at bolstering their defensive ranks.
The Hammers in particular are currently light at the back, with Winston Reid currently out injured and Arsenal loanee Carl Jenkinson being their only recognised natural right-back.
Santon is capable of playing in either full-back position and his current lack of first-team football for Roberto Mancini’s side would suggest that a potential switch in January could be on the cards.
“Santon wishes to remain at Inter. Sirens from the Premier League continue with Palace and West Ham insistent, but the player’s will is to stay and his decision will be decisive,” the report states.
Santon, 24, has made nine Serie A appearances this season though his last start came at the end of October therefore speculation has been rife over his future.
The report goes on to say that Inter are specifically looking to trim their squad as they currently have an excess of defenders, with Mancini also keen to make some additions in January.
Santon has Premier League experience having played for Newcastle United for four seasons under current Palace boss Alan Pardew, making the links to Selhurst Park all the more understandable.
