The right Leeds side turned up at Molineux (eventually) on Thursday night...
Who knew the 24-year-old could deliver a performance like that? It's what Leeds United wanted from the forward when he first arrived at Elland Road - why else would they have signed him?
But a stellar display like Thursday night's simply wasn't in sight. For months on end, Doukara has disappointed Leeds fans. Coming on in the first half against Wolves, however, the Frenchman delivered everything supporters would have wanted from him all this time.
Doukara started moves from deep, linked up brilliantly with his team-mates and was the driving force for United's goals at Molineux. In many ways, his big performance here has put the pressure on - and raises the question of what he'd been playing at in the past!
Byram's Leeds future may still be up in arms but the much-discussed full-back-cum-winger proved on Thursday night he can still be relied upon as long he is a United player.
Byram was lethal in front of goal and had an energy about him that helped swing momentum in Leeds' favour after Wolves took the lead. Steve Evans brought him back into the fold at the right time.
While Byram and Doukara delivered for the Whites at Molineux, not everyone was as decisive. Chris Wood's performance, for one, suggested the summer signing still has some way to go before proving himself to Leeds fans completely.
But Dallas looks like a recruit that was destined to succeed at Elland Road. The 24-year-old lost his man for Wolves' second goal but was otherwise faultless. The Northern Irishman was superb going forward, taking his goal brilliantly, and also showed the will and desire to track back at speed on several occasions.
