Leeds United secured a 3-2 win over Wolves on Thursday evening.
Leeds came back from 1-0 down at Molineux to clinch a 3-2 win over Wolves, sending them into 14th place in the Championship table.
Benik Afobe opened the scoring for the home side, before Sam Byram netted the equaliser. Stuart Dallas put the Whites ahead, and Byram took the scoreline to 3-1, although Nathan Byrne did pull one back for Wolves heading into the final 10 minutes.
However, Leeds held on for an impressive three points, after putting in a truly top class performance that should have seen Steve Evans' side net three or four more times on top of their three goals.
The goal Dallas scored will be a memorable one for the Northern Irish winger, as it was his first striker in Leeds United’s colours.
Following the game, Dallas reacted on his personal Twitter account to scoring his first goal, thanking all the fans who had been praising his top class performance against Wolves.
Thanks for all the messages.Glad to get off the mark.Hopefully more to come.Big 3 points for us.Onto Sunday now. #MOT— stuart dallas (@dallas_stuart) December 18, 2015
Aside from Dallas, Liam Cooper also took to Twitter to react to the result, calling the performance from him and his teammates ‘different class’.
Cooper also highlighted the fact that Leeds have picked up an impressive tally of seven points from their last three games, with nine available. If they continue this form over the festive period, Evans should have his squad pushing for the play-offs heading into the second half of the campaign.
