Sam Allardyce sends message on Twitter ahead of Chelsea clash

Allardyce deflated

Sunderland will take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his excitement at the prospect of taking on Chelsea away from home this weekend.

The Black Cats will lock horns with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Sunderland will head into Saturday’s game on the back of a 1-0 defeat to promoted outfit Watford at the Stadium of Light.

Allardyce’s side started the month of December with a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in North London.

The Black Cats are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment and are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Chelsea may be at home for Saturday’s game, but the Blues can no way be considered as favourites.

The London outfit are just a point above the bottom three and are in a wretched run of form at the moment.
