Report: Derby County, Watford and Wolves linked with Abdoul Camara of Angers

Derby County, Watford and Wolves want to sign Abdoul Camara.

Derby County, Watford and Wolves have all been linked with Abdoul Camara of Angers, BUT Football Club report.

Camara is out of contract in June according to the report, and has been courted by the three English sides, as well as Saint-Etienne in Ligue 1.

There is no indication that any talks have started between any clubs, or whether any of the sides are ready to formalise their interest ahead of the January transfer window, but the Rams, Watford and Wolves are all credited with a real interest in the 25-year-old.

Who is Abdoul Camara?

Camara currently turns out for Angers in Ligue 1, who have been one of the surprise packages in the division, and currently sit second place behind PSG.

Naturally a left-winger, Camara has also played two games on the right wing, and he has impressed in the division.

17 games have brought a return of two goals, and he completes on average one key pass and 2.3 dribbles per game. He is also a strong defensive presence, winning 1.6 tackles and 1.2 interceptions per game, excelling in a high pressing system.
