Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Lille OSC are all interest in Loic Remy of Chelsea, as reported by French outlet La Voix du Nord.
Remy, 28, has been granted few chances this season, despite Diego Costa’s struggles in front of goal. He has stated just one Premier League game, one Champions League game, and one in the League Cup, and even when chasing a goal late in games, Jose Mourinho rarely looked at using him.
He is vying for inclusion in France’s squad for the European Championships this summer, and could be forced to look for a move away from Stamford Bridge to improve his playing time ahead of the summer.
This has led a number of teams to consider Remy as a viable January target, with French club Lille competing with Crystal Palace and Newcastle for his services.
Lille are aware they cannot match the financial clout of the two Premier League clubs, and are said to be behind them in the race for Remy’s signature.
There is no indication as to which club Remy would prefer to move to, as he has played for Newcastle before, but Palace offers him the chance to remain in London.
A transfer looks likely in January, although the recent sacking of Mourinho could alter his plans, if whoever is named manager promises to use Remy more in the first-team for the rest of this campaign.
