Peter Odemwingie gives his verdict on Chelsea’s decision to sack Mourinho

Stoke City’s Peter Odemwingie does not agree with Chelsea’s decision to dismiss Jose Mourinho.

Stoke City attacker Peter Odemwingie has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Chelsea’s decision to sack Jose Mourinho as their manager.

Mourinho was dismissed by the London outfit on Thursday following a run of poor results in the Premier League this season.

Odemwingie, who can play as a winger or as a striker, has made it clear on Twitter that he does not agree with the decision.

Mourinho won the Premier League with Chelsea last season, and many will have expected the Blues to at least challenge for the title this campaign.

However, results have been terribly disappointing so far this season, with the Blues just a point above the relegation zone at the moment.

It is harsh on Mourinho to have been dismissed by Chelsea, but this is the reality that football managers have to live in.

At the end of the day, it is all about results, and the former Real Madrid boss failed to get them this season.
