Arsenal legend Ian Wright said on the BBC Radio 5 live 606 on Sunday evening (December 13) that Jack Grealish could leave Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.
“I think Jack Grealish will be somebody who will be sought after if he gets into the team and helps Aston Villa out of their plight,” said the former Arsenal striker.
Grealish has been at Villa his entire professional career so far and came to the fore last season.
The 20-year-old, who can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, is a very talented young player.
The youngster has been in and out of the team so far this campaign, but hopefully for the Villa fans he will start to show the kind of form he was in in the second half of last season.
Grealish is a good player, but he has a lot to learn. Even if Villa get relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season, perhaps he should remain at Villa Park.
Working with Remi Garde is only going to make the 20-year-old a better and more rounded player.
