The former manager had words of praise for the Leeds boss.
Tom Adeyemi was forced off after half an hour and Evans replaced him with Souleymane Doukara, also switching Leeds to a 4-4-2 formation.
Interestingly, the pundit heaped praise on Evans' change during the break - and the Whites got even better in the second half. United trailed Wolves 1-0 but ended up winning 3-2, leading by two goals at one stage.
Holloway said in the Sky Sports studio at half-time: "Brave change of management. The players’ reaction was great. The system wasn’t working.
"He made a great change to go two up and Sam Byram does well for the goal."

As Opta stats show, the change in system was one thing - but the change in personnel was the key for Leeds against Wolves.
Indeed, Doukara was superb. Out of the blue, the 24-year-old dictated things from deep, starting moves and linking up well with Stuart Dallas, Sam Byram and the like.
In an hour, he created as many chances as any other Leeds player, won two tackles and completed 27 passes. A bold change from Evans, then, and one that definitely paid off.
