The Toffees shot stopper took to social media with a motivational tweet - but fans aren't exactly inspired by the American right now.

Roberto Martinez's side have drawn their last three games, despite enjoying multiple opportunities to win matches. Leicester, meanwhile, top the league table and are the in-form side of English football.
As such, you can't blame the the 36-year-old for wanting to instill some positivity on Twitter.
The only problem, however, was that plenty of Everton fans didn't share that positivity. Indeed, Howard has been at fault for a number of goals this season, with Everton letting in far more than they should have - cancelling out their superb build-up play going forward.
It seems shaky goalkeepers are a common theme on Merseyside right now - see Simon Mignolet at Liverpool - but Martinez appears convinced Howard is the right man for the job between the sticks at Goodison Park.
Plenty of Everton supporters seem to disagree and made their feelings clear to Howard in the form of mockery on Twitter, ahead of what should be a great game for neutrals against Leicester this weekend.
Here's what some of the club's fans said - the 36-year-old certainly needs a thick skin right now to cope with some of the criticism he's getting (improving could be a good way to deal with it, though!):
@TimHowardGK remember when you dived out the way of the ball to let them make it 2-2— ️ (@Joe78__) December 17, 2015
