To be played on Saturday 19th December 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester
Odds: Man Utd 4/9, Draw 10/3, Norwich 13/2
Manchester United welcome Norwich City to Old Trafford this weekend with Louis van Gaal’s side desperate to get back to winning ways after a dip in form.
United lost 2-1 to Bournemouth on Saturday having previously crashed out of the Champions league at the group stage – a blow that sees them looking ahead to Europa League football in 2016 – and things have to change quickly at Old Trafford.
United are currently fourth in the table and while they are only six points behind leaders Leicester City their lack of goals this season is starting to become alarming, especially with the talent on display.
As for Norwich, they are currently 18th in the league and will be seeking a victory of their own in a bid to climb out of the bottom three.
The Canaries are below Swansea City only on goal-difference and will know the importance of a victory this weekend.
In early team news United are without a whole host of players including Chris Smalling, Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Antonio Valencia, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Ander Herrera.
Skipper Wayne Rooney is rated at 50 per cent to recover from an ankle injury while winger Jesse Lingard should overcome a hamstring problem.
Norwich are without Matt Jarvis while Andre Wisdom has a 75 per cent chance of being fit following a hamstring injury.
