£22m man and teenager to start: Predicted Tottenham line-up to play Southampton

Here is how we predict Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur will line up this weekend:

To be played on Saturday 19th December 2015 at 15:00. Venue: St. Mary's Stadium, Southampton

Odds: Southampton 6/4, Draw 23/10, Tottenham 15/8

Southampton welcome Tottenham Hotspur to St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino looking to get one over his old side.

Southampton are currently 12th in the Premier League table with 21 points from 16 matches while Tottenham are just five points better off but find themselves way up in fifth position.

That shows how quickly things can change in this division and the Saints will be desperate to secure the victory and make a move back towards the European places ahead of the vital Christmas and New Year period.

In early team news Southampton are without Fraser Forster, Florin Gardos and Jay Rodriguez while Martin Stekelenburg is a minor doubt with a toe injury.

As for Tottenham, they are without midfielders Alex Pritchard and Ryan Mason but Clinton N’Jie and Mousa Dembele are both expected to be fit despite suffering from a knee injury and illness respectively.

Summer signing Heung-Min Son, who cost £22million from Bayer Leverkusen, should come back into the starting line-up in place of Erik Lamela, who disappointed against Newcastle United last time out.
