Tottenham are reportedly scouting Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
According to a report from Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport, Tottenham have sent scouts to watch in-form Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
Spurs have a host of midfield players already in Eric Dier, Dele Alli, Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb, Mousa Dembele and Tom Carroll, but it seems that manager Mauricio Pochettino could yet look for another.
Corriere Dello Sport, a well-known Italian newspaper, report that Tottenham scouts are amongst a host of clubs who have been watching Inter star Brozovic, who is in fine form.
Brozovic, 23, signed for Inter from Dinamo Zagreb back in January after a lengthy transfer saga, but only now is he really starting to show what he can do at the San Siro.
With three goals in the last five games, Brozovic has become a key player for Roberto Mancini's Inter side, but interest is building in his signature.
The report from Corriere Dello Sport states that Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, Sevilla and Spurs have all been watching Brozovic during his recent form, but Inter could ask for a huge fee of around €25m to €30m (£16m-£18.5m), which may be deemed excessive.
Having been dubbed as the new Luka Modric - a former Tottenham star - the Croatian international has a lot to live up to, and with more and more clubs pursuing his signature, it seems that Brozovic could be on the verge of stardom; and he'll no doubt want to emulate the great career of Modric in the process.
