Toffees can upset leaders: Predicted Everton and Leicester line-ups

Everton Goodison 2

Here is how we predict Everton and Leicester City will line up this weekend:

To be played on Saturday 19th December 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Goodison Park, Liverpool

Odds: Everton 11/10, Draw 11/4, Leicester 13/5

Everton welcome Leicester City to Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon as the Toffees attempt to dent the Foxes’ surprise title charge.

Claudio Ranieri’s side are currently two points clear at the top of the table after their 2-1 victory against Chelsea last time out, and at this rate there is every chance they will secure at least a top-four finish come May.

That said, there is still plenty of football to be played and Everton have more than enough talent to get one over Leicester this weekend.

Roberto Martinez’s side have talent aplenty with their own in-form striker Romelu Lukaku, but Everton currently fins themselves in 10th position after a string of draws against the likes of Norwich City and Bournemouth.

In early team news Everton are without Phil Jagielka, Tyias Browning, Tony Hibbert, Steven Pienaar and Bryan Oviedo while James McCarthy is rated at 75 per cent to overcome a groin injury.

As for Leicester, they must do without Robert Huth due to suspension while Ritchie de Laet is injured.

Danny Drinkwater has a hamstring problem but is expected to recover in time for this clash.
