As reported by the Daily Record, Mehki Leacock-McLeod has joined Rangers on a trial period from Wolves, and he has been pictured in training with the Gers.
The young winger has linked up with the Gers for a short trial spell, having originally joined Wolves’ academy two years ago. He started his career at Fulham, and is now looking to earn a permanent transfer to Mark Warburton’s side.
He has joined in training with Warburton’s senior squad, having played an Under-20 game for Rangers earlier this week. Leacock-McLeod netted in a 9-0 victory over Airdrieonians Under-20s, certainly helping his cause to earning a new deal.
The photo, published by the Record’s official Twitter account, shows Leacock-McLeod wearing a Rangers’ training kit, having worked with Warburton’s team.
There are currently no indications as to whether Leacock-McLeod is to be offered a permanent contract at Ibrox, although he is clearly highly rated by Warburton, who chose to bring him for the trial.
If he impresses during his short stay at Murray Park, it would be no surprise to see the youngster secure a transfer to Rangers in January.
