The Norwegian has heaped praise on the coach Liverpool sacked earlier this season.
And the 40-year-old has praised both the current and former Liverpool bosses.
Indeed, Deila likes Klopp's personality (few don't) and the self-belief the German possesses.
The Norwegian is quoted as saying by the Express: "I liked Jurgen’s personality, his offensive mindset and his strong belief in what he was doing."
The Celtic head coach also spoke well of Rodgers but here's where Bhoys fans should hope he is only joking. He has singled out the Northern Irishman's worst traits...
Deila added: "I also liked how Brendan Rodgers spoke. His work felt very modern and he saw leadership role differently than previously."
As Liverpool fans will attest, the way Rodgers spoke was unbearable for the most part. After every defeat, the excuses would be rolled out about 'intensity, character and philosophy.' Seeing leadership differently is more or less Rodgers not showing any - and simply replacing it with monotonous cliches.
Of course, Deila has often emphasised similar characteristics at Celtic. That's why supporters should hope he's only joking. If the Norwegian is basing the way he thinks and talks about management on Rodgers' time at Liverpool, the Europa League isn't the only thing he'll end up leaving!
