Alan Pardew has ruled out sales at Crystal Palace in January.
Alan Pardew has suggested that Crystal Palace are expecting a very quiet January transfer window in comments published on the club's official Twitter account.
Palace have made an impressive start to the season and have climbed into sixth place in the Premier League table as a result.
However, Pardew is not looking to make many additions in the new year, and he also has ruled out cashing in on any of his key stars.
AP: I don't think we'll be doing too much business in January, maybe a few on loan. Our key players like won't be going anywhere #CPFC— Crystal Palace FC (@CPFC) December 17, 2015
Pardew’s words suggest that the likes of Yannick Bolasie, Scott Dann and Wilfried Zaha will all remain with Palace until the end of the season, at the very least.
That will be good news for Eagles supporters, as they are on the verge of achieving something special this season.
Palace have been one of the most dangerous teams in the Premier League this term and they are only three points outside the top four heading into the busy festive period.
Pardew has his side playing with freedom and flair, and if they keep putting in performances of such quality there is no telling how high they could rise.
