Newcastle United are looking to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window.
Newcastle are keen to make additions to their team and they have been scouting La Liga heavily in recent years.
The purchase of Ayoze Perez in the summer of 2014 has seemingly convinced Newcastle that there are bargains to be had in Spain and they feel Camarasa could be a good option.
The 21-year-old has made 15 appearances for Levante so far this season, and he has been one of their most consistent performers.
Levante are actually sitting at the bottom of the La Liga table, but Newcastle have reportedly been encouraged by Camarasa’s displays.
The talented midfielder’s form has been recognised by Spain at under-21 level, and there are hopes that he could increase Steve McClaren’s options at St. James’ Park.
Newcastle may not have a clear run to sign Camarasa though, as Stoke City are also said to be interested.
