Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on signing Cheikh Ndoye.
According to a report from ESPN, Crystal Palace are set to make a move for Angers midfielder Cheikh Ndoye in the January transfer window.
Palace have made an impressive start to the campaign and they have climbed up to sixth place in the Premier League table
Alan Pardew is determined to keep his side moving forward and he seemingly wants to add further quality in the new year.
Ndoye has reportedly been identified as a player the Eagles would like to sign, as his form has been excellent in Ligue 1.
The Senegalese international has helped Angers move into second place in France’s top flight and he has been one of their most consistent performers.
Ndoye has 15 times for Angers this season, scoring five times but if the 29-year-old does move to Palace, he will have to work very hard to break into Pardew’s team.
The Eagles already have a team packed with quality, with Yohan Cabaye and James McCarthy establishing their position as the side’s two first choice central midfielders.
