Preston North End made it four games unbeaten on Tuesday night as they recorded a 1-1 draw against Birmingham City at Deepdale.
Adam Reach's first goal for the club put North End in front, but after strong pressure from Birmingham, Michael Morrison turned the ball home from a corner to earn the Blues a point.
Once again though, the star of the show for Preston was goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who made a string of outstanding saves.
The 21-year-old shot stopper has been one of Preston's best players so far this season, and he proved it once again by keeping Birmingham at bay time and time again.
The England Under-21 international was snapped up on loan from Sunderland over the summer after North End missed out on Manchester United's Sam Johnstone, but Pickford has been arguably the most impressive goalkeeper in the Championship this season.
After the final whistle against Birmingham, Preston fans took to Twitter in order to rave about Pickford's performance, stating that he is one of the best goalkeepers they have ever seen at Deepdale.
Sunderland fans will no doubt be ecstatic with how Pickford is progressing under Simon Grayson, and the comments below show just how much Preston fans are dreading the possibility of Sunderland recalling Pickford during the January transfer window...
Pickford in that second half was truly outstanding. That was a very good point in the end #pnefc— Ste (@GingerStump) December 15, 2015
