Credit Suisse has hired Andreas Arni to head a new unit that focuses on entrepreneurs as it expands the business of managing money for the wealthy.

Bloomberg News reports that Arni, a former UBS banker, will join in the second quarter of next year and report to Serge Fehr, who heads the Swiss private banking and wealth management operations, according to a memo sent to staff seen by Bloomberg.

In the meantime, Bloomberg also reports that Goldman Sachs has named Stephan Feldgoise and Matt McClure as co-heads of mergers and acquisitions in the Americas, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg News.

The investment bank also appointed Mark Sorrell as the new head of M&A in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said the memo, whose contents were confirmed by a spokesman.
