The Scotland international says he is not concerning himself with exit talk.
This week saw Arsenal being surprisingly linked with a move for Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur. The former Wigan Athletic man has been in good form this season as Palace continue to impress in the Premier League.
That form has seen him considered as an option for Arsenal, as reported by HITC a fortnight ago.
Alan Pardew then told the Evening Standard last week that he was 'not surprised' by the link, considering the form of the Scottish midfielder.
Now the player has had his say.
Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser it is clear to hear that he is flattered by the talk of a move to Arsenal.
However, he says he is staying focused on the job in hand at Selhurst Park:
"It's nice of the manager to say - but I'm not going to listen to the rumours.
"I am just going to go about my job at Crystal Palace, because I am really enjoying my football."
Arsenal are currently short in central midfield after injuries to Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla.
McArthur has been a mainstay in the Palace first-team and the swashbuckling midfielder's efforts seem to have not gone unnoticed.
Whether or not Arsenal make a move in January may well depend on other options but it is clear that the interest is not going to impact on Palace's unheralded hero from carrying on the good work.
