Birmingham City drew 1-1 with Preston North End last night.
Birmingham City supporters have raved about Demarai Gray’s performance in their match against Preston North End on Tuesday evening.
Birmingham picked up a 1-1 draw at Deepdale and they put in an excellent performance in the process.
Gray actually had a chance to ensure his side took all three points back to the Midlands with them in stoppage time, but he fluffed his lines when through on goal.
Despite the glaring miss, Birmingham fans have forgiven the winger and they have in fact suggested he was the best player on the pitch yesterday.
Preston took the lead in the match through Adam Reach, but Gary Rowett’s side responded well to going behind and had the better of the rest of the match.
Michael Morrison struck an equaliser in the 67th minute, and then North End had their goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to thank for ensuring that they did not lose.
The draw moves Birmingham up to eighth in the Championship table and their supporters have been encouraged by the performance their side put in.
Here is the best reaction to Gray’s display on social media site Twitter.
