QPR secured a 2-2 draw with unbeaten Brighton on Tuesday.
Charlie Austin scored a brace to fight back from two goals down to tie with Brighton 2-2 on Tuesday evening.
Dale Stephens and Rajiv van La Parra netted early in the second half to give the Seagulls the lead, and make it appear as if they were set to continue at the top of the Championship table.
However, Austin pulled one back on the 65th minute, before he netted the equaliser in the 88th minute after Lewis Dunk was sent off.
The last goal came from a corner, sent in by Alejandro Faurlin, who was arguably man of the match.
Austin may have stolen the show with his goalscoring prowess, but Faurlin ran the game with his attacking skills. He was an energetic presence in the middle of the park, and showed his creative and technical aptitude on many occasions.
Following the game, Faurlin took to his personal Twitter account to react to the result, which chairman Tony Fernandes replied to, praising his impact upon the game.
Hope everyone enjoy today's performance as we did absolutely proud of the team!! What a character to comeback from 2a0 down!Brilliant night!— Alejandro Faurlin (@alefaurlin) December 15, 2015
@alefaurlin you were superb ALI. Loved your celebration. No one deserves success more than you. A true gentleman— Tony Fernandes (@tonyfernandes) December 15, 2015
Fernandes had nothing but high praise for the Rs key player, who looks to be playing at top form at this moment in time.
