Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has posted a reflective message on Twitter, as it is four years to the day since he scored his first goal for the club.
Kane netted for the first time in a Spurs shirt in a Europa League match against Shamrock Rovers back in 2011.
Spurs won that contest 4-0, with Kane capping off the triumph with a strike in the 90th minute.
The goal remains a special moment for Kane, and the striker has suggested that he wants to create even more memories over the coming years.
Kane’s statement suggests that recent speculation has not turned his head in the slightest.
The 22-year-old has been linked with Manchester United by ESPN, but it seems that his sole focus is on being at White Hart Lane.
That will be excellent news for Spurs, as they place a great amount of responsibility on the young striker’s shoulders.
Kane is Tottenham’s only out-and-out centre forward, and he is required to lead the line for Mauricio Pochettino’s side in almost every match.
Kane has scored eight goals in 16 appearances in the Premier League so far this season.
