Tottenham will face a different Fiorentina side this time around.
Fiorentina beat Spurs 3-1 across two legs, winning 2-0 in Florence after a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane.
The Italian side though will be looking for new match winners - with all three of their goalscorers no longer at the club.
Mohamed Salah netted in the second leg, and was on loan from Chelsea at the time. He decided against a permanent move to Fiorentina, signing with Champions League side Roma instead.
The 23-year-old scored nine goals on loan for Fiorentina last season, and is already up to six this campaign for Roma.
Striker Mario Gomez also scored in the 2-0 win, yet he is not part of the current side. Fiorentina decided to send him on loan to Turkish side Besiktas for the season, where he has been intent on showing them what they are missing, brushing off his injury problems and netting 13 times in 20 games.
The scorer in the first leg at White Hart Lane is no longer at the club either. It was one of only two goals Jose Basanta scored Fiorentina in his career, but he is currently on loan at Mexican side Monterrey.
This leaves talk of an easy repeat for Fiorentina anything but. They need new match winners to step up and deliver, while Tottenham will feel they have a fresh shot of success.
