Lukaku has made a blistering start to the campaign, and he seems to have developed into the complete striker.
The 22-year-old has netted in his last seven appearances in all competitions, and Naismith has been impressed by his teammate’s displays.
“Rom’s been playing some of his best football since he came to Everton in the last couple of months,” Naismith said. “He’s scored some big goals and the most accomplished and strongest part of his game is probably his finishing.
“He doesn’t score the same type of goal; it’s a variety which is great and long may that run continue.”
Lukaku has always shown great promise, but this season he has added a cutting edge to his play.
The Belgian international has destroyed defences with his pace and power, and he has benefitted from the excellent service that Everton’s suppliers provide.
The likes of Gerard Deulofeu and Ross Barkley have created plenty of chances for Lukaku, and he has only been too happy to dispatch them.
Lukaku now has 15 goals for the season, and only Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is ahead of him in the Premier League’s scoring charts.
Everton’s next match comes against Leicester City on Saturday, putting Vardy and Lukaku in direct competition with each other.
