Bournemouth have their eye on Marco Sportiello.

Bournemouth have their eye on Marco Sportiello, report Italian website Tuttomercatoweb.

The 23-year-old is a goalkeeper who currently plays for Serie A side Atalanta.

The report states the Cherries are looking to replace ex-Southampton stopper Artur Boruc, who is 35.

Sportiello has been at Atalanta his entire career to date, but with the side currently as high as eighth in Italy's Serie A, the club will not be keen to let him leave without a fight.

He has a contract until 2019 and was previously capped at under-21 level for Italy.

Tuttomercatoweb report Atalanta will only consider offers over 10 million Euros, which works out at just over £7 million.

Bournemouth currently sit 14th in the Premier League, having recorded impressive victories over both Chelsea and Manchester United.

Sportiello is not the only Serie A based player to be linked with Bournemouth this week. Tuttomercatoweb earlier reported they held an interest in Roma's Argentine forward Juan Iturbe.
