Jermaine Jenas jokes about Nottingham Forest and Dexter Blackstock on Twitter

The former Forest midfielder showed some humour on social media.

Former Nottingham Forest midfielder and current BBC pundit Jermaine Jenas took to Twitter to joke about Dexter Blackstock on Monday night.

Before Forest's trip to Blackburn, Jenas promoted one of Blackstock's social media accounts, joking that a lot of his goals are flukes.

And, when someone responded telling the ex-midfielder about how the striker saved Forest's season at one point, Jenas replied by saying the Midlands outfit's campaign wouldn't have needed saving if he was there!

As for Nottingham Forest's current season, Dougie Freedman's men sit 15th in the Championship table, nine points above the relegation zone but only six points off the play-off places.

Freedman suggested Forest have to get results at the likes of Wolves and Blackburn Rovers if they are to enjoy a successful campaign and they avoided defeat at both recently.

They couldn't win, however, coming away with two draws, with each game being away from home.

Next up for Forest are two home clashes - against MK Dons and then Leeds United. Both sides currentl;y sit below Freedman's men in the league standings, with the Dons in the relegation zone.
