Taking a look at who West Bromwich Albion could bring in next month.
Since their 2-0 defeat against Manchester United back in early November, the Baggies have gone on a four-game undefeated streak which is all the more impressive when you consider they have faced Arsenal, West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in that time.
With the Christmas and New Year matches set to come thick and fast, what we can expect from West Brom’s season overall should be a lot clearer in a few weeks, but the January transfer window will also allow Pulis to make some additions if he so wishes.
A recent report from the Birmingham Mail suggested West Brom could bring in Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy on loan, and if the French international can rediscover his best form that would be an outstanding piece of business.
Then there is the need for additional width, with Queens Park Rangers winger Matt Phillips regularly linked with a potential switch to The Hawthorns. But the Mirror is reporting that if West Brom fail to sign him they could turn their attention to Besiktas player Kerim Frei.
In truth Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s appointment as QPR boss could scupper any short-term move for Phillips as he bids to get the London club back into the top flight, so Frei seems the more likely option next month.
With all that in mind, could this be West Brom’s starting XI in 2016?
