The Rs play host to Brighton this evening, as the Championship table toppers make the short journey from the South Coast to London looking to keep their unbeaten run intact.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is looking to pick up his first win as QPR boss, following his debut ending in a respectable 0-0 draw with Burnley. There were definite positives to take from the game, and Hasselbaink will be hoping his new players can hit the back of the net for the first time in his reign.
Brighton head into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw with Championship high flyers Derby County, who required a late penalty from Chris Martin to bring the game level. They are two points clear at the top of the table, with Chris Hughton currently on a 20 game unbeaten run.
The game will see Bobby Zamora returning to Loftus Road, with the 34-year-old currently spearheading Brighton’s attacking with five goals in 15 games.
Zamora scored 14 goals in 92 games with the Rs, scoring the goal which sent them to promotion in 2014 in the play-off final victory over Derby.
A victory for the Seagulls will extend their lead at the top of the table - potentially to five points - whilst QPR could rise to seventh place if they pick up all three points.
