The Dons take on Sheffield Wednesday this evening, looking to move out of the relegation places with a victory over Carlos Carvalhal’s men.
Karl Robinson has led his side to four wins and four draws from 20 games, and they currently sit on 16 points. They are in the final relegation place, but a win tonight could move them as high as 19th place.
Conversely, Wednesday are pushing for promotion to the Premier League this season, and are currently residing just outside the play-off places. They are on 30 points, one point behind Ipswich in sixth place, and all three points tonight could move them into the top six.
However, the Owls have just one win in their last seven games, and the Dons could consider this a very winnable game given the poor form shown by the visiting side.
Wednesday come out on top in the head to head record, but only slightly with a two victories to one ratio. Draws have been the main result between the two sides, with five in the history of the fixture.
