Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton has told the club’s official site that he is expecting Queens Park Rangers to have a good season.
Brighton are set to travel to Loftus Road this evening, as they look to protect their unbeaten record so far this season.
“They've got a lot of quality, especially when you look at the team on paper and what they have on the bench,” he said.
“It's for them to make sure they put themselves in a position where they can challenge for promotion.
"They are on a good run at the moment. They might not be winning the number of games they would like, but they have become a tighter unit.
"I would expect them to have a good season."
QPR do have some of the most talented players in the Championship in their ranks, but they are yet to find their top form this campaign.
The London outfit have been frustratingly inconsistent, and their failure to pick up wins on a regular basis ultimately cost Chris Ramsey his job as manager.
QPR have now appointed Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and the Dutchman will hope to help his side start to climb the Championship standings in the weeks ahead.
As things stand QPR are four points outside the play-off places, but they have improved in recent weeks.
QPR have not lost any of their last three matches and they will keen to pick up their first win under Hasselbaink’s stewardship tonight.
