Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United went head-to-head on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur saw their undefeated Premier League streak ended by relegation-threatened Newcastle United on Sunday, with Eric Dier’s opener ultimately cancelled out by strikes from Aleksandar Mitrovic and a late winner from Ayoze Perez.

Up until that match Tottenham had built up an impressive head of steam that saw them go 14 matches without defeat following their opening-day setback against Manchester United.

Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son have impressed in tandem this season but against the Magpies they were unable to make an impact, and an image of the pair during the match summed up the defeat perfectly.

With their heads in their hands and their backs to the camera, it is clear neither Kane nor Son could quite believe they had let three points slip…
