Celtic manager Ronny Deila has told BBC Sport that attacking midfielder Tom Rogic is fun to watch.
Deila made the comments following Celtic’s 3-0 victory over St Johnstone away from home at McDiarmid Park in Perth in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
Rogic, who has earned 13 caps for Australia and has been on the books of the Bhoys since 2013, started the game and played until the 81st minute.
The 22-year-old gave a good account of himself in the match, and Deila was impressed.
“He’s getting better and better,” Deila told BBC Sport. “Technically he’s very good, finding pockets between the lines, good penetrating passes. It’s fun to see.”
Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 42 points from 17 matches.
The Hoops are four points clear of second-place Aberdeen, who have played a game more.
The Bhoys will return to action next weekend when they take on Motherwell at Celtic Park in Glasgow.
Celtic will then face Hearts and Dundee away from home in the Scottish Premiership before the end of the month.
