Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in the disappointing results for Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening.

Both Liverpool and Tottenham drop points in the Premier League, while Arsenal won their away game on Sunday.

The Gunners got the better of Aston Villa 2-0 at Villa Park, while Liverpool drew 2-2 with West Bromwich Albion at Anfield and Tottenham Hotspur went down 2-1 to Newcastle United at White Hart Lane in North London.

Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 33 points from 16 matches, a point clear of second-place Manchester City.

Tottenham are seven points behind the Gunners in fifth, while Liverpool are way back down in ninth with 24 points.

Parlour, who started his career at Arsenal and played for the North London outfit until 2004, has taken to Twitter to revel in Sunday’s results.
