Nottingham Forest earned a point away to Blackburn as they cancelled the home side out and managed a 0-0 draw.
Both sides were lacking conviction in attack, having 20 shots between them but landing a combined eight on target, and failing to hit the net once.
After the game Forest midfielder Henri Lansbury and defender Dani Pinillos both commented on Twitter, expressing a level of satisfaction with a point gained, but a desire to kick on and win their upcoming games.
Thank you everyone that traveled to the game tonight shame we couldn't win but still the run goes on get ready for Saturday #Nffc— Henri Lansbury (@lansburyhenri) December 14, 2015
Lansbury's reference to Forest's run refers to the fact they are now unbeaten in four games, beating Reading and Fulham, and drawing with Wolves in the run up to last night.
The draw took Forest into 15th, but with teams around them set to play tonight and later this week, they are likely to be overtaken and drop down the table.
Forest's next game is a home fixture against MK Dons, who currently sit in the relegation zone, so it is a game Dougie Freedman's side will be favoured in and can look to build on their recent momentum.
