Two photos which sum up Sunderland and Watford’s contrasting situations

Sunderland suffered a 1-0 defeat to Watford at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Sunderland are in real danger of getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.

The Black Cats have been disappointing for most of the campaign, and they suffered yet another defeat on Saturday afternoon.

Sam Allardyce’s side went down 1-0 at home to promoted outfit Watford, Odion Ighalo’s goal in the fourth minute proving to be the difference between the two teams at the Stadium of Light.

The loss means that Sunderland are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with just 12 points from 16 matches.

Watford were also expected to be struggling for survival, but the Hornets are flying high in the table.

Quique Sanchez Flores’s side’s are in the top half of the table and are only four points behind Manchester United.
