Trevor Sinclair makes a sarcastic comment about Aston Villa on Twitter

Tim Sherwood Press Conference 12/02/2014

Aston Villa suffered a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at Villa Park in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Former Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United winger Trevor Sinclair has taken to social networking site Twitter to mock Aston Villa’s decision to sack Tim Sherwood earlier this season.

Sherwood was dismissed as the Villa manager in October following a run of poor results.

Frenchman Remi Garde was subsequently appointed the Villans' boss in an effort to stop the rot, but the club remain in danger of getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.

Villa are at the foot of the Premier League table at the moment and lost 2-0 to Arsenal at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon.

Sinclair was following the match, and he has predicted the Villans to go down to the Championship while also mocking Villa for sacking Sherwood.

Villa will return to Premier League action next weekend when they travel to St. James’ Park to take on Newcastle United, who are also fighting relegation at the moment.
