Celtic beat St. Johnstone 3-0 in the Scottish Premiership today.
Celtic made it seven wins in the last eight league games after a 3-0 victory over St. Johnstone at McDiarmid Park earlier today.
The Bhoys had drawn 1-1 with Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday night, and were back in league action with a trip to St. Johnstone.
Ronny Deila must now win the title after failing miserably in Europe this season, and his cause was helped with a convincing victory for his side.
Summer signing Nadir Ciftci, who has struggled to nail down a first team place since joining from Dundee United, put Celtic in front after 35 minutes, turning home after some hesitant St. Johnstone defending.
Centre back Dedryck Boyata then made it two shortly after half time, heading the ball home emphatically from a Callum McGregor corner kick.
Turkish striker Ciftci then rounded off the scoring with a header of his own, handing Celtic a comfortable 3-0 win over St. Johnstone.
The result means Celtic sit four points clear of Aberdeen at the top of the table, but still have a game in hand over the second placed Dons.
