Southampton fans react on Twitter to Victor Wanyama’s performance against Crystal Palace

Arsenal-linked Victor Wanyama failed to make an impact for Southampton against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.

Southampton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Victor Wanyama against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

Wanyama started the Premier League match at Selhurst Park in London and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Saints lost 1-0.

The 24-year-old defensive midfielder did not have a good game and struggled to make an impact.

The former Celtic star took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 87%, created one chance, attempted three dribble, won 17% of his tackles and 25% of his headers, and made two interceptions, three clearances and one block.

The Kenya international has been linked with a move to Premier League giants Arsenal in the January transfer window.

According to a recent report in The Mirror, the North London outfit are interested in signing Wanyama next month.
